Tim is an engineer with a specialism in energy. Most recently he has been working with Pell Frischmann Consulting Engineers in energy optimisation and renewable energy for the built environment, as Director of Sustainability.
Tim started his professional career with the multi-national oilfield services company Schlumberger, where he co-authored two patents before developing his management career. Working with Schlumberger, he was part of the startup team that developed IndigoPool.com, an online assets and divestiture business.
In addition to his role at Verus, Tim is a Director of Cambridge Energy, a not-for-profit organisation to advance energy thinking between academics, industrialists and policy-makers.
Tim has a Ph.D. in mathematical optimisation and non-linear modelling from the University of Cambridge, from where he also holds a Masters degree in Engineering.
